Kevin Jenkins látványtervező osztotta meg az egyik első vázlatot Palpatine császár visszatéréséről a Star Wars: Skywalker kora című filmből. 

A gyártás elején egyedül terveztem meg Palpatine visszatérését, teljes titokban. Egy sötét irodába zárva dolgoztam, heti egyszer mutathattam meg a munkáimat J.J.-nek. Ez az egyik első ceruzás vázlat.
