AM - MANAUS - 03/10/2023 - AMAZONAS, DRY - Boats are stranded on the shore of the region known as Manaus Moderna, the city's port region, during the drought on the Rio Negro. The Amazon region suffers from a severe drought and the effects are seen in the rivers Negro, Solimoes, Purus, Jurua and Madeira, causing the mortality of marine animals and isolation of riverside populations (traditional communities that live on the banks of rivers).
