PRODUCTION - 06 December 2022, Saxony-Anhalt, Naumburg (Saale): A team of restorers led by Hannah Stahl (center) dismantles the Cranach-Triegel altar in Naumburg Cathedral for transport. The Cranach altar was completed almost 500 years after its partial destruction. The work, supplemented by the central section by the Leipzig painter Triegel, is now causing lively debate - including about the Unesco World Heritage title of Naumburg Cathedral. Now it is going on tour and will soon be shown at the Diözesanmuseum in Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia. Further stops are planned. It is expected to return at the end of 2024 or in the first half of 2025. Photo: Jan Woitas/dpa (Photo by JAN WOITAS / DPA / dpa Picture-Alliance via AFP)
