Monika Jaranowska graduated from the Cultural Science Faculty at the European "Viadrina" University in Frankfurt, Germany. Simultaneously, she graduated from the Philology Faculty at Wroc3aw University, Poland. From January 2001 to January 2004 she undertook artistic activities in Kraków (Poland) by establishing and managing a dance school as well as managing the first professional salsa dance company in Poland. From April to September 2004 she worked in the National Center for Culture in the Ministry of Culture. In the Culture Development Department she was responsible for projects within Activity 1.4 of the Integrated Operational Programme for Regional Development (IROP) - training for project applicants and web site administration- and was also responsible for the international relations of the National Center for Culture. From October 2004 she worked in the German-French twinning project in the Ministry for Economy and Labor as the person responsible for the organization of regional conferences and administration of the web site www.erdf.edu.pl. From April till now, she is working as Manager for Partner Relations in the Polish Competence Centre eGovernment and eEducation in Warsaw www.egov.edu.pl. From Mai 2005 till now, she is working as a Project Expert for ERDF implementation (Technical Aid 2004-2006) in the Ministry of Economy and Labor in Warsaw.
