He graduated from the Semmelweis University of Medical Sciences in 1980 as a general practitioner, and in 1987 from the Technical University of Budapest as an electrical engineer. He obtained his specialist degree as a radiologist in 1988, and as a neuro-radiologist in 2001. At present, he is the head surgeon of the X-ray department of the National Neuro-surgery Institute. He is involved in CT and MR scanning, 3D reconstruction, brain tumour diagnostics, CT and MR angiography, and functional MR inspection.
