Golden bicycles of Chinese bike-sharing service Coolqi are lined up on a road in Shenyang city, northeast China's Liaoning province, 8 August 2017.
Coolqi, a bike-sharing company based in Beijing, unveiled a new shared bicycle model in northeast China's Shenyang as the company ramps up efforts to compete with rivals such as ofo and Mobike. To use the bicycles, customers just need to download an app and pay a deposit of 298 yuan ($43.12). It costs 1.5 yuan ($0.22) half an hour, a little bit higher than other bike-sharing services. The golden bike can automatically adjust its seat to riders' height once users save their height data into the bike-sharing app.
