Zoltan Gera is not drawn back anymore because of his thigh problems. All his pain disappeared so there is nothing to stop him playing on the 3rd round of the FA Cup on Saturday against Reading.

He returned to the football field on the 26th of December after his hernia surgery, but after playing 23 minutes he had to miss another one and a half week. The captain of the Hungarian national team had muscle ache in his right thigh restraining him from three Premier League matches. He started full training from the middle of the week and he hopes he can play in the Hawthorns on Saturday.

"I played together with the team on Thursday and Friday. I had some discomfort in my thigh thursday evening, but it was much better than previously and on Friday training everything was alright. I feel confident because the site of the surgery is not sensitive at all and the horrible symptoms I had before all disappeared. Now that my thigh is okay I got my place again in the squad."

"Saturday at 3 pm we start the match against Reading and it is a must to get through, but here in England everything can happen smaller teams can cause major surprises. This weekend is very busy here - on Friday for example Akos Buzsaky came to train with Plymouth to our training camp, because they play a kind of 'Hungarian derby' against Wolverhampton that has another two Hungarians Gabor Gyepes and Denes Rosa."
