ICF Flatwater Racing World Cup Szeged

The Hungarian Canoe Federation is pleased to invite you to come to Szeged again to compete at the ICF Flatwater Racing World Cup in May, 2007. Having staged the world championships in 2006 with great success the Hungarian Canoe Federation is anxious to host another senior event of flatwater kayaking and canoeing.

Boat transportation
Please contact Your Chamber of Commerce or Customs Office to obtain the accurate information regarding the documents necessary for boat transportation.

Boat rental
The Organizing Committee has a limited number of boats available to rent (Nelo). You may require rental boats by filling in the corresponding form and sending it back by the 2nd of February as indicated. Upon receiving the boat rental form 50% of the rental fee will be added to the proforma invoice as it must be paid in advance as a deposit along with the participation fee. The remaining 50% must be paid upon arrival at the accreditation centre.

The boat rental prices are as follows:
K-1 and C-1 40 Euros per day
K-2 and C-2 60 Euros per day
K-4 and C-4 80 Euros per day

Insurance
All official participants of the World Cup are strongly advised to take out a medical insurance policy in their respective countries.

Medical care
The following medical services are available for all official participants of the World Cup: doctor on duty, hospital and clinic assistance. A medical centre will operate at the regatta course with ambulance and first aid. The costs above the regular first aid, ambulance and physiotherapeutic services are to be covered by your medical insurance policy, the Organising Committee is not responsible to cover your expenses in connection with hospital treatment, dental treatment or any other medical treatment.

Visa
All participants are kindly requested to contact the Hungarian Embassy or consulate in their respective countries in time regarding visa requirements.
