Zoltan Gera after his long injury played again in West Bromwich Albion. The South London outfit had a game against Tottenham at the White Hart Lane but the Hungarian midfielder had dubious feelings after the Premier League match. Bryan Robson's side was leading 1-0 but Robbie Keane scored twice, therefore The Baggies had to leave London without any gathered points. Gera played in the last five minutes as a substitute but couldn't add more to the game than one dangerous header.

"We missed an enormous possibility because we had been playing well, and it seemed that we may reach an even better result than a draw. It's simly unbelievable that for a fault like this, all our efforts were useless. I'm very sorry about our goalkeeper, who had a good start but then his fault prevented us to earn a point" - the 27-year-old explained.

Gera played only in the last minutes but he wasn't disappointed about it. "I'm not disappointed, what's more I didn't even expect to get a chance. As I saw the result, I thought that I wouldn't be sent on, I was a bit surprised when I was told to play."

"My header would've been good only if it was a goal. I should've scored from this opportunity, but I couldn't slip the ball perfectly. I'm very sorry about it."

"I'm not overjoyed about my comeback after a game like this. Of course it's a positive thing that I got the chance to play but I'm sad for opportunity that our team have missed."

After his header it seemed that Gera felt pain in the little mary. "Luckily I'm alright. All that happened is that two defenders were fallen onto me and I was kicked in the pit of the stomach. For some seconds I couldn't breath and felt pain but it went away soon."

The Hungarian told something to goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak before the penalty. "I was shouting the supposed way of the ball. I remembered where Robbie Keane shot his last penalty and I was telling it Tomasz. He moved to the right direction but unfortunately he couldn't grab the ball."

Gera didn't want to predict anything if he is going to play against Liverpool or not. "I'm very optimistic, but it's impossible to predict at the moment if I will play or not. Until that game there'll be some trainings, and if everything's alright then I hope that I'll be in the squad and can help the team."
