Here you can find the latest news about the "Magic Magyar" of West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich midfielder Zoltan Gera had an assist and a good half an hour in WBA's reserve game against Newcastle but the tricky Hungarian wasn't very satisfied with his performance. The 27-year-old wanted to play the whole game but he had to leave the pitch in the 65th minute.

"I wanted to play until the end of the match but this time I wasn't able to. It was a much more faster game than the one against Bolton last week and now I couldn't do better. I would like if my closing up would be faster and I would be my old self from a moment to another, but it's not so simple," Gera told.

"In the first half on hour I felt very good on the pitch, I had an assist and I created another opportunity, but on the whole it wasn't a straight-out. I can only repeat myself, I do the trainings imperturbably and hope to join my mates in The Premiership too, but I don't want to predict anything about my comeback."

"I should make good in probably the strongest league of the world in a team which is fighting against relegation and mustn't risk. Because of these things it's very sure that I will only undertake playing if I was highly aware of being able to help West Brom."
